As an Editor Writer with years of hands on experience, I am happy to give writers a valuable helping hand towards publication, and website owners the chance to present a first class brand image to their clients.

Words were my first and core profession. Prior to studying fine art, I was an advertising copywriter, freelance editor and writer. While broadening my skill set with much loved studies in the arts, I have continued to write and to edit - and will always do so. It is a pleasure and an honour for me to shape ideas and words into an alluring article, book or website, and to provide assistance to the many clients who have solid concepts and stories, but who might struggle a little with grammar or clear thinking and flow.

Memoir and Story Editing

Do you have a book in you?

My most recent project was the Australian memoir: Robbie Rundell's "DIVING INTO LIFE". This rewarding memoir began as a handwritten pile of lively but unpolished stories and ended up as a fabulous self-published paperback, complete with celebrity recommendations on the cover! We have also taken this publication through to Kindle and I-book format.

I was privileged to be given the task of editing the second autobiographical book of best-selling West Australian author Carla van Raay ("God's Callgirl"). Her memoir, "The Price of Passion," was published by HarperCollins.

This kind of project is a rewarding journey for both author and editor.

Website and Online Writing

Recent projects have included:

- editing a dynamic, new online weight loss course
- rewriting and optimising a contemporary jewellery designer's website
- creating a website for a new author.

Screenplays

During my long association with Australian-based film director Paul Cox, I assessed many scripts and collaborated on others. I recently completed the first draft rewrite of a feature length drama set in Hawaii, based on an original concept by an American attorney.

EDITING AND WRITING RATES

Copywriting - $75 per hour.

Editing rate - $55 per hour.
